One of the challenges that comes with living in the beautiful state of California is our long-standing history of destructive natural disasters, and Northern California is no exception. As a result of dry, arid summers, our communities are faced with incredibly high fire danger and some of the most destructive fire seasons in U.S. history. Shortly after summertime closes, nature seems to switch gears, and winter storms bring high winds, rainfall, and extreme snowfall to our mountainous communities. Northwoods partners with federal, state, and local governments, as well as commercial and residential clients, to respond to and recover from disasters rapidly and effectively: Emergency storm cleanup, Post-wildfire land restoration, Fire-weakened timber removal, Hazard tree removal.
